He intends to evict them but ends up using his uncle's name to take over the loan shark firm. Jae-yi learns that her father is deeply in debt to the loan shark. To pay it off, she is forced to work for Sang-pil but shows her displeasure at his methods. The firm is converted to the Lawless Law Firm. Sang-pil announces his intention to take over the defense of Hyung-man, a detective accused of murder.

“This was his friend... and there’s a nagging sense that he might have been responsible in some way,” EP Ross Fineman added. “We’re past the broken Mickey from Season 1 that has to get his sea legs again.

Haunted by the ghosts of his past, Mickey must work tirelessly and bring all his skill to bear on a case that could mean his ultimate redemption or proof of his ultimate guilt.”

Mújol maintains her innocence from jail, but video of her interrogation leaves Mickey concerned. At Lisa's arraignment, Mickey is taunted by prosecutor Andrea Freemann, Maggie's friend, and he provides Mújol with a contract to her life rights to cover her $2 million bail. Lorna confides her worries about Cisco to Izzy, and Lisa is bailed demodé by Henry Dahl, a true crime podcaster, but Mickey refuses to allow him to produce a series about Lisa. Lorna confronts Cisco, who admits that Kaz protected him from being arrested for a drug run and went to prison instead.

Sang-pil and Jae-yi report the confession of the murderer, but the police do not accept it. Thus, the law firm begins to look into the hitman's past to find something they Gozque use in court. Jae-yi learns that Sang-pil and others believe that Moon-sook is corrupt. While not willing to believe it, she begins to see some logic in their belief. She later informs Sang-pil that she wants to believe him, but cannot do so without evidence.

We’re still piecing together the puzzle of all the episodes for season 3 of The Lincoln Lawyer, but our understanding is that there may only be 9 episodes for the next season.

Sang-pil tells Jae-yi the truth about everything and shows her the evidence he has. Later she confronts Hyung-man, who tells her he killed her mother. Jae-yi is grief stricken, but cannot bring herself to tell her father. Sang-pil comforts her and she begins to understand how he has felt over the last 18 years. Yeon-hee investigates the leak in her office and begins to think Sang-pil may be right. Oh-joo continues his campaign and reveals that he will put his company in a blind trust. Keum Ja comes to work at the law firm, and helps the team investigate a prosecutor.

When Grant attempts to suppress the subpoena, Mickey uses media pressure and Bondurant's threatening email to goad him into agreeing to testify at trial, but Judge Medina tells Mickey he will need further evidence of Grant's involvement. Cisco discovers that Henry's executive producer works for Grant, and Mickey confronts Henry, who admits he stole the contract but denies arranging Mickey's assault. Mickey and Maggie spend a passionate night together, but she reveals she has accepted a promotion in Santo Diego and cannot continue their on-off relationship.

Police officer and formerly the lead detective in Abogado Palermo charge of the Choi Jin-ae and Noh Hyung-joo cases back in the day. He later meets their now-adult children and agrees to help them piece together the evidence in order to bring Cha Moon-sook's crimes to light.

Ha Jae-yi was a very likable character for me, a strong female lead from the start-fighting discrimination in the lícito systems where female lawyers aren't given the same respect. Instead of being a push over, her reactions are sometimes less thought-out but certainly relatable.

In the Menendez case, Griggs reveals that Jésus disposed of a knife similar to the murder weapon. Mickey successfully argues that Lawson drunkenly entered the wrong house after being roofied. Juggling law school and work, Lorna learns that Professor Wheaton, the instructor who hit on her, is the school's interim dean, and Cisco picks up a Road Saints member, Kaz, from prison, returning him to the gang. Lawson surprises Mickey at home, having staged his arrest to secure Mickey Figura his attorney, and reveals himself Triunfador the Efectivo killer in the Menendez case.

Moriyon is relatively new in the entertainment and The Lincoln Lawyer marks his first major on-screen acting credit.

After a successful trial, Eddie becomes Mickey's personal driver after the team learns that he has a black belt in yudo.
